Nimrod Classic 2014 -- Odds and Ends…..

Lodging: Hotels/motels tend to fill up quickly for the month of May as Polson typically hosts several State athletic events over these weekends. As such, shooters are advised to book their lodging as early as possible. Some of the establishments catering to us in the past include:

Best Western ‘KwaTaqNuk’ (406) 883-3636
Polson Super ‘8’ (406) 883-6266
Port Polson Inn (406) 883-5385.

Other area motels are also available, and for those of you wishing to camp, try the Polson KOA at (406) 883-2151.

For more detailed information regarding all lodging in the greater Polson area be sure to check out the following two links: www.montanarockies.worldweb.com/Polson/WheretoStay/HotelsMotels/index.html www.montanarockies.worldweb.com/Polson/WheretoStay/BedBreakfasts/index.html

Saturday’s Sub-Gauge Pump Event: Another limited warm-up opportunity is the ‘Short-Shuckers’Event which caters to the smaller gauges through a ‘handicap’ system detailed in our ‘Rules Section’. Please note that there are NO vintage gun requirements for this event other than compliance with Rules 2 & 3!! So, dust off those small gauge Remington 870’s, Browning BPS’s, and Mossbergs – and start practicing!
